Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who need direct control over events or investigative tools will hit a wall because observation and judgment are the primary interactions.
- Players who want clear explanations may bounce off the unresolved distinction between paranormal incidents and ordinary occurrences.
- Players seeking combat, exploration, or character progression may find the camera-based structure too narrow.
Our take on 8AM
The bounce point arrives when an unusual event appears and the game offers no tool for checking it. Players must commit to an interpretation based only on observation, while the uncertainty between supernatural activity and coincidence remains in place.
What is 8AM?
8AM is a suspense game about observing a family through a security camera system from a room where the player has no memory or explanation.
After midnight, ordinary household activity may be joined by apparitions, paranormal incidents, or unusual behavior such as sleepwalking. The player must decide whether each event reflects something supernatural or an everyday occurrence seen through isolation and tension. There are no investigative tools or ways to alter what happens; judgment is the central mechanic. Correct choices extend the vigil toward 8:00 a. m. , when release becomes possible. Each night adds further decisions while the game maintains uncertainty about reality, coincidence, and the meaning of what appears on camera.
