StrategyIs Diggin worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy incremental mining games with gradual equipment upgrades
- Adventure fans interested in uncovering a mystery through resource gathering
- Casual strategy players who prefer progression through a skill tree and terrain changes
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a fast-paced experience may find the incremental digging and upgrading loop too slow.
- Those wanting a broad range of activities may find the focus on mining, terrain changes and upgrades restrictive.
- Players uninterested in collecting crater materials or investigating the vanished Mole tribe may have little reason to continue.
Our take on Diggin
The focused excavation loop gives up broad activity variety: progress centers on digging, gathering materials, changing terrain and selecting upgrades rather than presenting several distinct gameplay systems.
What is Diggin?
Diggin is an incremental adventure set in a meteor crater.
Play as Doug, a young Mole exploring the site discovered by his grandfather, Digby. Gather ores and other materials from the ground, then use them to improve the drill, change the terrain and obtain more mining equipment through a large skill tree. The crater also contains relics and secrets connected to an ancient star-nosed Mole tribe that disappeared. Progress combines resource collection and equipment upgrades with an investigation into what happened to the missing tribe.
How Diggin plays
