Our take on DevLife
Career choice has lasting weight: selecting a direction can leave the character living with the consequences of a decision that felt wrong. The trade-off is reduced freedom to treat every path as interchangeable, with the simulation built around committing to a professional identity.
What is DevLife?
DevLife is an IT-focused simulation in which players shape a character’s professional path and personal story.
Character creation includes selecting traits, while choices in interactive situations influence later events. Four skill branches cover creating websites, mobile software, games, and programs for computers. The main work cycle involves locating client jobs, delivering commissions, and studying to expand abilities. As progress continues, players may launch a company, develop original projects, employ staff, and oversee employee welfare and advancement. The game includes four settings with homes and office spaces. Build Mode supports buying furnishings, decorative items, and RTV equipment. DevLife is currently in Early Access; planned additions include more interactive events, character customization, locations, and furniture.
