Our take on ServiceIT: You can do IT
Rather than presenting simulation as one repeated workplace routine, the game combines electronics repair, network intrusion, programming, server incidents, and a sabotage thread. Its structure moves between maintenance work and adversarial hacking tasks.
What is ServiceIT: You can do IT?
ServiceIT is a simulation game about running an IT service company while dealing with sabotage from an anonymous hacker.
Tasks include repairing RFID, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and pendrive boards; assembling motherboards, RAM, and CPUs; and cleaning computer components with compressed air. Players manage routers, customer networks, files, access permissions, malware, passwords, servers, and database users. Network infiltration involves entering local systems to obtain data and surveillance recordings. Programming uses blueprint-style mechanics for developing software and controlling devices. Server work includes replacing server drawers and responding to fires in the server room. Recording recovery involves connecting matching threads to restore images. The game is in Early Access, with additional equipment, programs, and systems planned.
