Our take on Extortion
Its defining detail is the command-line structure: server break-ins, file retrieval, and defensive countermeasures all unfold through hacking commands.
What is Extortion?
Play as a computer engineer whose secret has led to blackmail.
Work through a command-line interface to access servers, obtain confidential files, and complete missions for the person controlling the situation. Use hacking commands to bypass firewalls, exploit weaknesses, and overcome defensive systems. Server security increases as the story progresses, while counter-hacking attempts and surveillance force changes in approach. The interactive narrative centers on a choice between continuing to fulfill demands and trying to identify the blackmailer for revenge. Each successful intrusion moves the character toward freedom or deeper involvement in the blackmailer's plans.
How Extortion plays
- 01Command-line hacking

- 03Interactive blackmail story
- Choose between completing the blackmailer's assignments and attempting to locate that person.
- 04Changing countermeasures
