Our take on The Future You've Been Dreaming Of
Rather than centering an adventure on direct movement or confrontation, the game places the player in an unseen supervisory role. Progress comes from locating objects, ringing a bell, and shaping another character’s parameters within timed chapters, with 20 futures replacing a single route.
What is The Future You've Been Dreaming Of?
Play as a Zashiki-Warashi, a house-bound spirit whose unseen guidance can influence Sachi Usui’s future.
During each chapter, search her room for items that change her parameters, then ring a bell to draw her toward them. Available items vary by chapter, and a time limit restricts each session. Sachi cannot see the player, allowing observation of her everyday life and vulnerable moments. Her parameter levels at the end determine which future path opens. The story follows Sachi, a college student unsure what career to pursue, whose apartment is scheduled for demolition. There are 20 possible paths, and gamepad operation is recommended.
