Play it if you…
Good fit- Rhythm-game players who want a massage-themed mechanic rather than beat matching alone
- Players interested in a character-led story about a masseuse working under a repayment deadline
- Players seeking a rhythm game with a fixed set of 50 songs
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a broad set of gameplay modes may find the focus on rhythm-based massages limiting.
- Players who want open-ended play may find the story’s one-month repayment deadline a narrow structure.
- Controller users who want to remap keys cannot use the key configuration function while a controller is connected to the PC.
Our take on beat refle
The game ties its rhythm play to a specific massage scenario and a story deadline. That focus gives the music prompts a clear context, but leaves less room for varied rhythm-game formats or a story detached from the parlor and its customers.
What is beat refle?
This rhythm game follows Atsushi Yubihara, who takes over his late grandfather’s massage parlor and meets Momiji, a talking cat.
With a loan collector demanding repayment within one month, Atsushi works as a masseuse for customers with physical aches and personal worries. The rhythm mechanic has players press the button shown in time with each song as they massage customers. Momiji gives Atsushi a technique that sends music through his gloves as sound waves. The game includes 50 songs. Its story centers on the parlor, the customers, and the approaching repayment deadline. Keyboard and mouse users can configure keys; the key configuration function cannot be used when a controller is connected to the PC.
