- Players looking for a real-time stealth strategy game may prefer a different structure.
Our take on Demonschool
The bounce point arrives during the planning phase: players must account for movement, environmental reactions, buffs, debuffs, and combo effects before executing the turn. Those who prefer direct command-by-command combat may find this layered setup demanding.
What is Demonschool?
Demonschool combines tactical planning with a university-life schedule.
Faye and her companions confront creatures from the human and demon worlds on a mysterious island. During planning, movements can be rewound before actions are executed together. Environmental interactions include striking enemies, moving objects, and dashing, while buffs, debuffs, and linked attacks build damage and trigger elemental effects against weaknesses. The story uses a light horror tone, large character avatars, and side quests. Across days and weeks of a university semester, players explore the island at different times, organize school activities to improve skills and gain abilities, recruit teammates, and develop relationships with 15 characters based on relationship choices.
