Players use shotguns, bullet-deflecting shields, dashes and shotgun jumps while collecting souls. Tarot cards appear randomly and grant temporary power-ups to a player or team, or curse opponents. Modes include free-for-all, team battles, soul collection, single-soul control and one-life rounds. A separate enemy wave mode supports 1 or 2 players against 6 enemy types across 5 unlockable arenas, leading to a boss battle against the Devil. Playable characters include the Preacher, Demon, Angel, Antichrist Deceiver, Nun and Death. Arenas feature hazards, portals, moving platforms, traps and hidden routes.
