Our take on DemonCrawl
Rather than keeping Minesweeper as a fixed, single-board puzzle, DemonCrawl places board-solving inside roguelite runs with collectible items, build choices, and randomized stage combinations. Its PvP arena and automated-sweeping mode also extend the puzzle format into competitive play.
What is DemonCrawl?
DemonCrawl combines Minesweeper-style puzzles with roguelite runs.
Explore more than 60 stages, with over 100 stage modifiers that change how boards play. Find and collect items, which are recorded in a Codex, and use Tokens earned during runs to buy Talents. Multiple profiles let players try different builds. The game includes five quests with multiple difficulty settings, plus Endless Multiverse, a daily Hero Trial, the three-stage Beyond mode, a tutorial, and Classic mode.
Online PvP matches up to eight players, while Autosweeper Division automates board sweeping so players can focus on item strategy and economy. Hard mode and above include quest leaderboards, and crafting is available in Hard Mode. The game also has unlockable Masteries, cosmetics, and more than 100 achievements.
