We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-platformer fans who want one-hit combat
- Players who prefer short, high-pressure levels
- Players seeking multiple modes focused on surviving enemy waves
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want forgiving combat may hit a wall at the one-hit rule, where a single hit kills the player.
- Players seeking long levels may bounce off stages that last only 1–3 minutes.
- Players looking for a larger campaign may find 15 levels too limited in scope.
Our take on Death Box
The bounce point is the one-hit rule: a single hit kills the player, while the same rule also applies to enemies. Players who need room for mistakes will hit that wall at the first failed exchange, before the short level structure can offer much variation.
