Our take on Deadly Trick
The school setting and anime presentation frame the game, but the listed play centers on a compact social-deduction loop: choose a side, investigate, discuss evidence, and vote on a culprit. The central experience depends on assembling a group of 5 to 8 participants.
What is Deadly Trick?
Deadly Trick is an anime-style social deduction game for 5 to 8 players set at Lastope School.
Players choose between the White role, which involves completing class activities and escaping, and the Shadow role, which involves secretly eliminating other participants. When an incident occurs, players investigate the crime scene, collect clues, and organize them into statements. They then share and examine those statements during a Class Trial to determine who caused the incident. If the group fails to identify the culprit, everyone except the Shadow is executed. The game centers on cooperation, betrayal, discussion, deduction, role selection, and consequences based on the chosen side.
