Our take on Dark Fall: The Journal
An invisible ghost presence follows the investigation from the opening, conveyed through strange calls, footsteps, and voices without a visible source.
What is Dark Fall: The Journal?
Investigate Dowerton’s abandoned train station and hotel, where guests and staff disappeared on April 29, 1947.
The present-day story begins when the protagonist receives a frightened call from a brother working on the site. Exploration follows a non-linear narrative involving hidden areas, local ghost stories, surveillance equipment, and devices that reveal traces of the past or let the protagonist hear the dead. Progress depends on detective work, solving puzzles and enigmas, deciphering an ancient language, and using a Ouija board to communicate with ghosts. Strange calls, footsteps, unseen voices, and an invisible supernatural presence accompany the investigation. The game presents the haunted location in 3D with an audio cast.
