Our take on CYGNI: All Guns Blazing
Its defining mechanic is the live power tradeoff between shields and weapons, forcing offensive and defensive systems to compete for the same combat energy.
What is CYGNI: All Guns Blazing?
CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is a cinematic space shooter located on the planet CYGNI, where an ancient abandoned society once existed.
As one of the few pilots left aboard the fleet’s final carrier, the player battles through dangerous stages featuring attacks from both the sky and the ground. During fights, power can be shifted between weapons and shields. Energy gathered in combat fuels the vessel and its arsenal, which includes nuclear weapons and vortex bombs. Air combat and strikes against ground targets unfold over glowing urban areas, lunar-style terrain and open space. The game also includes solitary showdowns with enormous alien bosses, supported by an orchestral soundtrack and immersive audio.
