Our take on Crystal Crisis
Players who rely on careful, conventional grid placement may bounce off when pairs can cross an edge and reappear on the opposite side, or split apart before landing. The Burst system adds another timing and resource layer during head-to-head matches.
What is Crystal Crisis?
Crystal Crisis is a one-on-one puzzle combat game where players arrange falling crystals, clear them, and attack an opponent’s board.
Crashes and combos fill a Burst gauge used for 40 special offensive and defensive moves. The game includes local and online multiplayer, with 20 playable characters and individual stages, music, Bursts, and voice lines. Single-player options include Arcade, Survival, Tag Team, Training, and a Story mode with branching paths. Its wrap-around mechanic lets crystal pairs cross one edge of the grid and return on the other side, while split-pair placement can send the two crystals in different directions. Crystal colors can be customized, including a setting for players with color blindness.
