Our take on Cruel TD
Rather than making tower defense entirely about controlled placement and planning, the game adds random tower attributes after respawning and makes defeat costly. Players choose whether to risk further progress for rewards or stop and hold their position.
What is Cruel TD?
Cruel TD places four towers at the center of attacks by thousands of monsters.
Tower types differ in health, attack, speed, range, growth potential, and skill slots, giving players options for tower combinations. Players choose from 34 skills to equip their towers. Dying removes earned rewards and returns progression to Level 1; respawning randomly determines the towers’ new attributes. Players decide whether to push forward for more rewards or stay put. Two dungeon tasks, Ludashi and Green Cycle, offer activities alongside research. A slot-machine feature can generate in-game currency through chance-based outcomes. The game has no daily quests or event tasks, and points can be allocated freely.
