Is ReRoad worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Tower defense fans who want to shape enemy routes instead of defending fixed lanes
- Strategy players who enjoy adapting after learning enemy attributes
- Players seeking repeated runs with varied tower, invention, and drone combinations
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want uninterrupted battles may bounce off returning to the first scouting zone after losing the Decoy
- Players looking for a one-time campaign may not enjoy continued strategy experimentation after clearing the game
- Players seeking a traditional tower defense layout may not enjoy digging routes around randomly placed stage towers
Our take on ReRoad
The bounce point arrives when a failed defense sends the battle back to the first scouting zone. Players who prefer progression without a reset may find that interruption difficult, especially because success depends on studying enemy attributes and rebuilding the approach.
What is ReRoad?
ReRoad is a tower defense game centered on creating routes through each stage.
Players dig paths while accounting for randomly placed stage towers and the defensive structures they construct. Because available power cannot eliminate every enemy at once, battles involve drawing enemies out in smaller groups, gathering information, and strengthening defenses. Strong enemies may reveal clues about the cause of the robots' rebellion. If a Decoy is destroyed, the battle returns to the first scouting zone, requiring another attempt with knowledge of enemy attributes. Completing the game does not end its strategic possibilities: tower upgrades, inventions, and different drones provide alternative combinations of skills and defenses.
How ReRoad plays
- 01Player-built routes
- Stages let players excavate paths while working around randomly positioned towers and their own defensive placements.
- 02Staged enemy scouting
- Enemies can be drawn out in smaller groups to reveal information and build strength for later encounters.
- 03Reset after Decoy loss
- Destroying the Decoy sends the battle back to the opening scouting area.
- 04Multiple strategy options
- Tower improvements, inventions, and drone choices create different combinations of skills and defenses.
