Our take on Cliff & Field Tower Defense
The focus on tower combinations and repeated defensive runs leaves less room for a linear, unchanging campaign structure. Permanent upgrades also reduce the pressure of difficult stages, while disabling them creates a stricter progression path.
What is Cliff & Field Tower Defense?
Cliff & Field Tower Defense is a strategy adventure set in Cirin, where a portal transports the player to a land threatened by seemingly endless monster waves.
The player takes the role of a foretold leader and defends a new kingdom with towers and weapons that can be upgraded. Six towers have 15 upgrades each, creating more than 750 tower combinations and thousands of possible strategies. Runs include randomness, hit chances, drops, and enemy hordes that evolve in response to the player's style. A time-reset mechanic allows tactics to be refined. Permanent upgrades carry across attempts, and players can take on additional challenges with those upgrades enabled or disabled.
