Our take on Critical Fishing
Rather than centering on casting, reeling, and landing fish, the game splits fishing into submarine expeditions and airborne shootouts. Catches become part of a weapon-driven progression loop, while battery failure makes each dive a risk-managed run.
What is Critical Fishing?
Critical Fishing replaces the usual fishing rod with a remote-controlled submarine, upgradeable guns, and an angry worm protagonist.
Gameplay has two stages. During each dive, the submarine gathers fish, resources, buffs, permanent upgrades, and treasure chests while avoiding underwater threats. If the battery runs out, everything collected during that dive is lost. The underwater contents are randomized on every dive. In the shootout stage, caught fish are launched into the air and turned into smaller fish that provide resources and coins. Eight weapons can be upgraded, mods can personalize the playstyle, and combined effects can create chain reactions. Experience points are used to develop fishing skills.
