Our take on Crimsonland
Rather than separating character progression from combat, the game ties perk choices to XP earned by killing monsters. Its quest chapters also unlock weapons and perks for the survival modes, linking campaign progress with repeatable wave-based play.
What is Crimsonland?
Crimsonland is a top-down shooter in which players fight aliens, zombies, spiders, lizards, and other monsters.
Quest mode has six chapters and unlocks weapons and perks for use in survival modes. Killing monsters earns XP and levels; each level brings a choice of perk, and perks can accumulate during a session. The game has 30 weapons and 55 perks, alongside five survival modes: Survival, Rush, Blitz, Weapon Picker, and Nukefism. Quest and survival modes support local co-op for up to four players. Steam features include global and friends leaderboards, achievements, and stats, and the game supports controllers.
