Our take on Corrupted: Dawn of Havoc
The defining structure is its split between planning and intervention: players place the team before combat, then watch characters act automatically while spending a regenerating cost to play cards in real time.
What is Corrupted: Dawn of Havoc?
Corrupted: Dawn of Havoc combines auto-battler positioning with roguelike difficulty and deck building.
Players assemble a team, choose cards for each character, and arrange allies on a tile-based battlefield before combat. Once the placement phase ends, characters fight automatically under AI control. During these battles, a recovering cost allows real-time card use, including blocking enemy skills and combining card effects. The game offers three card types and more than 200 cards, with available cards changing by character. The Exism system adds abilities to cards, while Plugins can fill weaknesses or alter team strategy. More than 20 random events affect progress as players attempt to retake a research base from the Corrupters and their hosts.
