Our take on Corpse Keeper
The decay system gives roster decisions lasting consequences, but it also limits the ability to rely on a fixed group of favored warriors. Replacing fallen corpses and weighing preservatives, resources, equipment, and team composition become recurring costs of expedition planning.
What is Corpse Keeper?
Lead a squad of three corpses through a dark medieval world during timed expeditions.
Combat combines sword fighting with parries, dodges, rolls, and character skills against increasingly strong opponents. Each exploration raises a warrior’s irreversible decay; at 100%, that corpse collapses, while preservatives can reduce the increase. Defeated enemies provide flesh and bones for creating replacement corpses, requiring continual roster changes. Resource choices affect exploration, and encounters may provide aid at a cost. Equipment changes attributes and grants specialties that interact with warriors, enemies, areas, items, and facilities. Dozens of playable characters and seven areas are available, with the objective of defeating a demon in the cathedral.

Corpse Keeper compared to similar games
Corpse Keeper combines action RPG combat with roguelite runs, timed exploration, corpse decay, and replacement warriors created from enemy remains. Quasimorph also uses a high-stakes roguelike structure, but its setting and activities center on cyberpunk contracts, extraction, and a PMC rather than medieval corpse management.
