Our take on Sophia the Traveler
The experience is organized around 10 hand-painted Venice scenes, with players searching each tableau for objects and characters. Its defining format is a picture-book-style hidden-object journey rather than a combat or progression-driven game.
What is Sophia the Traveler?
Follow Sophia through 10 scenes set in Venice, searching hand-painted cityscapes for objects and characters.
The picture-book format pairs hidden-object searches with animated people, environmental sequences and sound effects. Scenes include more than 1,800 character assets, over 300 character animation sets, more than 100 sequence animations, over 100 European buildings—including 8 notable Venice landmarks—and nearly 300 sound effects. Human-recorded audio is available in Mandarin, English, Italian, French, Cantonese and Minnan, among other languages. The game also includes small animated Easter eggs. A sequel set in another location is a stated plan, not part of these 10 scenes.
