God Within VR is a Soulslike action game played in virtual reality.
Combat uses physical swings, directional blocks, parries, and a sequence of stagger, stun, and execution. Players enter the ruined land of Viseran and face bosses whose forms and moves change across phases. Combat can involve melee, ranged weapons, and magic. Exploration includes ancient mechanisms, fragmented clues, shortcuts, and hidden routes. When the player falls, the nearest Anchor brings them back at a cost. Decisions involving the Return Mark carry consequences for the journey and its endings. The game is aimed at players who enjoy Soulslike pacing and learning enemy patterns through repeated attempts.
