Our take on Conductor
The short runtime keeps the journey focused, but leaves limited room for a long-form campaign. Teleportation is the movement choice, so players who prefer continuous locomotion may find the traversal less suited to them.
What is Conductor?
Conductor is a VR action-adventure puzzle game set in a post-industrial apocalypse.
On the run from Overcorp, players take control of a locomotive and travel toward safety, clearing obstacles along the way. The Gravity Cannon moves objects and alters the environment, while other tools and problem-solving are used to tackle puzzles. Players also defend themselves against Overcorp’s forces and visit multiple stations, each with its own puzzles and challenges. Driving and maintaining the locomotive are part of the gameplay. Movement uses teleportation. The stated game length is 1. 5–2. 5 hours.
