Instead of limiting play to high-level commands, the expansion adds real-time aiming, firing, and maneuvering for units. Its multiplayer modes also split into distinct formats: tank combat, hero-unit battles, and cooperative defense against waves.
What is Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor?
This expansion to Company of Heroes adds three episodic WWII campaigns with nine missions, new units, maps, abilities, and three multiplayer modes.
The episodes follow a German Tiger tank crew fighting British forces on D-Day, an American paratrooper company after the landings, and Wehrmacht soldiers facing the Allied advance. Missions use persistent environments and include new objectives. Alongside strategic decisions, players can directly aim, fire, and maneuver units in real time as battle conditions change.
