Our take on Colored Shapes
Indirect movement is the central trade-off: gravity switches shape Mr. Red’s path, but do not provide direct steering. That choice keeps play focused on level geometry and object placement, while limiting control over moment-to-moment movement.
What is Colored Shapes?
Colored Shapes is a physics puzzle game in which players direct Mr.
Red by switching gravity in four directions. The character moves through levels containing colored objects that can help or obstruct progress. Use round keys matching a door’s color to open it, and collect three colored squares to meet the requirement shown beside the teleport. Objects vary in mass: smaller ones have less mass, while larger ones can block Mr. Red. Changing gravity can also move him out from under an obstruction. The game features pixel graphics and achievements.
How Colored Shapes plays
- 01Directional gravity
- Switching gravity among four directions guides Mr. Red without direct character control.
- 02Color-matched doors
- Round keys open doors when their color matches the door.
- 03Teleport requirement
- Each level shows how many colored squares must be collected to pass through its teleport.
- 04Physics objects
- Objects with different masses can block movement or be used to open passages.
