What is Clean Slate?
Clean Slate is a suspense visual novel about the disappearance of Dr.
Lucien Janus, a world-famous geneticist who has vanished inside his own laboratory. Brendan Alaster, a retired detective and Janus’s old friend, investigates the lab during one night. Two other people are also looking for the doctor, but their motives and trustworthiness are uncertain. The investigation includes 10 science-themed puzzles and multiple life-or-death decisions. A flowchart tracks important story moments, while hand-drawn animated character art presents the cast. Choices can lead to seven different endings. The game contains flashing lights, profanity, blood, violence, and self-harm.
