Our take on Chipmonk!
Rather than using human fighters or a realistic setting, this beat ’em up casts chipmunk martial artists in a fight over the forest’s food stores. Its familiar brawler structure is paired with pixel art and an endless mode alongside the adventure.
What is Chipmonk!?
Chipmonk!
is a retro-style beat ’em up about chipmunk martial artists reclaiming the forest’s stolen food from a gray squirrel. Choose Grey, Cheeks, or Red, each with different strengths and weaknesses, and battle groups of enemies through a classic adventure mode. Other modes include facing an endless stream of goons. The game supports one or two players in local co-op, pixel-based visuals, button-mashing, and more advanced combat moves. A controller or two-button mouse is recommended.
How Chipmonk! plays
- 01Local co-op
- A second player can join the fight, or one player can play alone.
- 02Character selection
- Grey, Cheeks, and Red each bring different strengths and weaknesses.
- 03Multiple modes
- The game includes a classic adventure and a mode built around an endless stream of enemies.
- 04Advanced combat
