Our take on Broken Armor
The store presentation emphasizes changing floors, bosses, and repeated improvement, but the core activity remains a compact arcade loop of room navigation, hazard avoidance, and scarce-weapon decisions. The included mage DLC adds a playable option without changing that basic structure.
What is Broken Armor?
Broken Armor is an arcade-style action game about an incompetent knight exiled from Slambonia.
To regain entry to the kingdom, he must search for the holy grail while wearing unreliable plate armor. Gameplay centers on moving through rooms containing traps, creatures, vermin, hazards, and bosses, then reaching each exit. Weapons are limited, so combat requires decisions about when to spend them. The game presents classic-style graphics and gameplay modeled after older computer games. Its floors change between attempts, and its fast pace and unforgiving encounters frame each run as an opportunity to improve. The package also includes the mage DLC as a playable character.
