Our take on Mixture
Instead of centering its adventure on one hero, Mixture alternates control between an alchemist and a knight, with first- and third-person perspectives. Its structure combines platforming, material mixing, puzzles, and combat across a multi-biome journey.
What is Mixture?
Mixture is a fantasy action-adventure about an alchemist and an exiled knight who form an alliance while seeking redemption.
Players alternate between controlling Sephairos, a master alchemist, and Sola, a knight, using first- and third-person perspectives. Gameplay combines platforming, material mixing, spell casting, melee combat, puzzles, and boss fights. The journey crosses four biomes and more than 30 levels in barren lands of living metals, ores, and crystals. The PCVR version adds higher resolution, dynamic lighting, visual effects, and environmental elements compared with the Quest version. A hybrid third-person camera and fixed-camera movement are also described for VR exploration.
How Mixture plays

- 03Multi-Biome Journey
- Explore four environments across more than 30 levels, set among living metals, ores, and crystals.
- 04PCVR Visual Additions
- The PCVR edition includes dynamic lighting, extra visual effects, and more environmental elements than the Quest version.
