Our take on CHAOS;CHILD
Choices between nightmares and daydreams shift the realities Takuru perceives, while the course of investigations and relationships leads to six possible endings.
What is CHAOS;CHILD?
Set in Shibuya in October 2015, six years after a major earthquake, this visual novel follows Takuru Miyashiro, a high school senior and newspaper club president investigating a new series of bizarre murders.
The killings resemble a case that once terrorized the city, while people known as gigalomaniacs begin to awaken with the ability to make delusions real. Takuru investigates alongside a group of friends, looking for patterns and the person behind the murders. Players choose between disturbing nightmares and pleasurable daydreams, shaping the realities Takuru perceives and changing the story. The course of the team’s investigations and relationships leads to six possible endings. The game is a standalone story with a new cast and connections to the Steins;Gate universe.
