Our take on Catch the Vandal
The role-based structure focuses play on disguising, identifying, and chasing opponents, leaving little room for unrelated mechanics. It also gives up solo play in favor of matches built around groups of 2-8 participants.
What is Catch the Vandal?
Catch the Vandal is a multiplayer game for 2-8 players set in a city where participants act as police officers or vandals.
Police officers search for vandals among the citizens and must manage their badges, returning to the police station when they run out. Vandals blend in with citizens, disguise themselves, and damage city objects marked with stars. When officers apprehend a vandal, that player relies on teammates to continue pursuing victory. The game focuses on deception, disguises, chasing, and competing objectives. The first side to accomplish its objectives wins.
