Our take on Castle Warriors
Rather than presenting strategy through direct unit control, the game places army construction and talent selection at the center of its battles. Its structure also treats faster clears and repeated higher-difficulty runs as core objectives, giving the genre a timed replay focus.
What is Castle Warriors?
Castle Warriors combines roguelike progression with auto-battler combat and card-based army building.
Assemble forces one card at a time, create new army combinations, and develop talent builds while racing against time to conquer kingdoms. Eight named units have distinct abilities, including transforming enemies, creating blizzards, boosting nearby allies, chaining lightning, summoning undead, healing the army, and dealing focused damage. Each faction provides ten units to recruit for battle. Runs can be replayed at higher difficulty levels ranging from base +0 through +5, with faster clear times forming an additional challenge. The game currently supports mouse and keyboard on Windows. The vendor says that additional ways to play are planned.
