Our take on Random Legion
The store copy emphasizes the undead premise and its many facilities, while the central loop is narrower: spend resources, fight, collect more resources, and repeat. The campaign framing does not establish a broader structure beyond this progression.
What is Random Legion?
Random Legion is an auto battler combining casual and strategic play.
As the successor to the fallen Skeleton King, the player rebuilds an undead army and confronts the source of a warlock’s corruption. The core cycle involves entering facilities, spending resources, fighting for additional resources, and developing the army. Barracks display character attributes, talents, and skills. The laboratory extracts energy from prisoners or unwanted troops so other characters can learn abilities. The prison holds captives for ransom, antidote treatment, or recruitment. Shops sell fighters, prisoners, and equipment. The blacksmith strengthens or remakes items, while the synthesis room modifies army members. Progression continues through random levels.
How Random Legion plays
- 01Army Development
- Characters can gain talents and skills, receive equipment upgrades, and undergo transformation.
- 02Prisoner Management
- Captured prisoners can be ransomed, treated with an antidote for recruitment, or processed in the laboratory.
- 03Facility-Based Workflow
- Resources are spent in facilities before battles provide further resources for the next cycle.
- 04Equipment Crafting
- The blacksmith can strengthen acquired items or remake them into different equipment.
- 05Recruitment Shops
- Separate stores offer fighters, prisoners, and equipment for direct purchase.
