What is Boldly Forward?
Boldly Forward is a roguelike battle game centered on building teams of human warriors.
Players recruit fighters with different professions and talents, combine them to trigger bond effects, and choose opponents in varied environments. Hero development includes selecting weapons, equipment, skills, traits, and food to improve abilities. Battles pit the assembled teams against undead, elf, and orc forces whose strength increases across successive waves. The game includes four modes, each offering a different type of challenge. Its main play cycle combines recruitment, faction building, equipment choices, ability improvements, opponent selection, and combat against increasingly strong enemy groups.
