Our take on Cardaire
The card-game framing puts collecting, packs, and deck construction first, but the package also includes exploration, character encounters, fishing, music, and a clown. Buyers seeking a tightly focused duel game may find its scope broader than the opening pitch suggests.
What is Cardaire?
Cardaire is a single-player collectible card RPG set in the Duelist Frontier.
Players take the role of Mulligan, a duelist seeking recognition in a world centered on card battles. The game combines exploration with card collection, booster-pack purchases, deck building, and duels against foes. Its card pool contains over 100 unique cards, while the world includes characters to meet and places to explore. Duels include repeatable mini-tournaments and are described as challenging. Outside the card game, Cardaire includes fishing content and a soundtrack made by the developer. The game contains no microtransactions or NFTs and features at least one clown.
