Our take on Bump in the Night
Its defining structure is the repeated inspection of a familiar house, followed by a choice to return to bed or enter Dad's room based on whether anything has changed.
What is Bump in the Night?
A horror game about a child trapped in a disturbing dream inside a familiar house.
Each iteration requires examining the rooms for changes, including misplaced paintings, unexpected creatures, and problems involving Peanut, the child's best friend. After checking the house, the player chooses between returning to bed when something is wrong or going to Dad's room when everything appears normal. The goal is to escape the dream, wake up, and survive. Inspired by The Exit 8, Hospital 666, and Anomaly Exit, the game uses mouse and keyboard controls and currently has no controller support. An average play session lasts 15–90 minutes.
