Our take on Seoul Station
Instead of using exploration, combat, or puzzle-room progression, the game makes repeated train comparison its central structure. Advancement depends on recognizing changes and choosing whether to move forward or retreat, turning a familiar subway journey into a rule-based anomaly hunt.
What is Seoul Station?
Seoul Station is a find-the-difference game set aboard a Korean subway.
Players begin on the normal 0th train, then compare later trains with it while looking for anomalies in the carriage structure, advertisements, or character movements. When a difference is found, the player must return to the previous train; when none is found, the player advances. Missing an anomaly sends the player back to the 1st train. Correct discoveries increase the train number until the 10th train is reached. The game lasts approximately 10–60 minutes and includes three graphics options.
How Seoul Station plays
- 01Anomaly Detection
- Differences can appear in the carriage layout, advertisements, or the character’s movements.
- 02Train Progression
- Successful discoveries advance the route one train at a time toward the 10th train.
- 03Return-Based Rules
- Found anomalies require moving back, while missed anomalies reset progress to the 1st train.
- 04Graphics Options
- The game provides three graphics settings.
