Our take on FLOOR 10
The defining mechanic is the narrow timing window for the emergency bell: it can be pressed only between the elevator’s departure and arrival sounds, making each anomaly decision time-sensitive.
What is FLOOR 10?
FLOOR 10 is a short elevator simulator focused on spotting abnormalities while ascending through a building with up to 10 floors.
The objective is to reach the 10th floor by recognizing repeated anomalies and deciding whether to activate the emergency bell. The bell can only be pressed during the interval between the elevator’s departure and arrival sounds. Pressing it when something unusual occurs allows progress, while missing an anomaly or activating it during a normal ride sends the elevator back to floor 0. The elevator is narrow, and the game requires quick decisions. A complete session is estimated at 10 to 120 minutes. The setting and elevator details draw inspiration from Korean elevators.
How FLOOR 10 plays
- 01Anomaly Detection
- Each ride requires checking the elevator for unusual occurrences before deciding whether to continue.
- 02Timed Emergency Bell
- The bell is usable only after the departure sound and before the arrival sound.
- 03Floor Reset
- A missed anomaly or an incorrect bell press returns the elevator to floor 0.
- 04Ten-Floor Goal
- Progress ends when the elevator reaches the building’s 10th floor.
