Our take on Brume
The island’s atmosphere and classic adventure influence receive prominent attention, while the 1-to-2-hour length is easier to overlook. Three challenge modes add extra play options, but the main journey remains a compact experience rather than a large exploration game.
What is Brume?
This action-adventure follows a journey across an abandoned island shrouded in mist.
The character heads for a decayed fortress, encountering dangers such as armored knights, slugs, beetles, spirits, and powerful cursed enemies. Weapons discovered along the route increase the character’s strength, opening access to new areas and eventually the stronghold’s central chamber. The compact campaign takes about 1 to 2 hours, with emphasis on atmosphere, tone, and environmental detail. Cinematic scenes reveal more about the setting. Three additional challenge modes can be unlocked, and the game features procedurally animated legs.
