Our take on World of One
The game pairs exploration and puzzle-solving with combat, traps, and a four-ending story. That mix asks players to divide attention between different challenges rather than focusing on one activity; New Game+ also narrows the margin for mistakes to 3 lives.
What is World of One?
World of One is a platform game about exploring small, planet-like worlds that shift from a quiet home and garden to places filled with hostile creatures, traps, and riddles.
Players move through multiple levels, solve puzzles that can have more than one solution, and face large boss fights while uncovering what lies behind the world’s unsettling change. Actions during the game determine which of four endings occurs. Completing the game unlocks New Game+, where the player has only 3 lives. The journey combines platforming, combat, puzzle-solving, and a dark story about discovering the truth about oneself.
