Our take on Bonsai Castles
The opening pitch focuses on building and defending a fortress, but the implemented scope also includes walking through completed castles, replaying their development, sharing save data, ranking events, and custom parameters. Those modes make the game broader than a basic tower-defense presentation.
What is Bonsai Castles?
Build a Japanese castle on a randomly generated map by excavating moats and placing fences, walls, and turrets.
Normal mode combines resource gathering, fortress expansion, and enemy defense, while Campaign mode advances through stages with victory conditions. Endless mode continues attacks as the castle grows. Creative mode provides unlimited resources and a set number of enemies, and Custom Game changes gameplay parameters. Siege Mode tests enemy combinations against saved castles. Walking mode presents created fortresses from a first-person viewpoint. The game also includes replaying castle development, Workshop sharing for saved castles, and ranking events on the same map.
