Our take on BLOOD RITE
Rather than treating resources as abstract numbers, the game makes minions part of its economy: they gather gems, can be sacrificed for blood, or are turned into combat units by towers. Its structure moves from ten trials to an endless scoring mode.
What is BLOOD RITE?
BLOOD RITE combines arcade action with resource management and horror.
Minions collect gems, which are used to spawn more minions. Surplus minions can be sacrificed to produce blood for shields, power-ups, and daggers. Towers turn minions into archers, electrocutioners, or crossbow bolts. Players can also direct electrocution and use towers against incoming monsters. The game has ten initiation trials, followed by an endless mode focused on beating a previous score. Its tunnels and monsters are procedurally generated. Progress involves balancing the number of minions with the blood needed for combat abilities while facing enemies and the fire.
