Our take on Blon
The game trades a fixed, straightforward character arc for customization: playable family members, talents, weapons, and ability upgrades create more choices, but also make progression less uniform from one run to the next.
What is Blon?
Blon is a pixel-art 2D side-scrolling platformer about a blob pursuing a jealous older brother who stole the family treasures.
Progress through 7 biomes, including environments ranging from Hell to Space, each with changing environmental effects and a guarded boss. Collect leaves left behind during the chase and use them to rebuild the family castle, improving abilities along the way. The game includes multiple playable family members, each with different strengths and weaknesses, plus a skills tree with dozens of talents. Completing biome challenges awards weapons and armor. Adjustable difficulty supports either more demanding play or a more relaxed run through the adventure.
