Instead of following a physical character through a stable setting, this role-playing game puts the player in the form of a camera-like data life. Exploration across timelines and map changes take the place of a more conventional, fixed-world structure.
What is Blink Cam?
Blink Cam is a role-playing game in which players explore as a camera-like form of digital life.
They travel through timelines and regions, open recording locations, and piece together what brought down the Blink Project and how the protagonist lost their physical form. Maps feature objects and notes that reveal further content and gradually unfold the story. The game is planned to include 30 maps, with three map updates per period; some locations may change between updates, so players can capture images of each one to preserve a record of its timeline. A custom-map mode allows players to build maps and share them with friends.
