Our take on Bladestar
Waves end when required items are collected, not when every enemy is destroyed. With no timers, progress is governed by gathering objectives while surviving enemies across procedurally changing levels.
What is Bladestar?
This science-fiction action shooter places players in a Manta Starfighter, navigating asteroid, mine, and debris fields while fighting pirates, rebels, and aliens.
It includes over 50 waves across six worlds, with procedurally generated content that changes each game. Players can switch between three weapons, collect power-ups, and face eight bosses alongside over a dozen enemy and obstacle types. Waves are completed by collecting items, without timers or a requirement to destroy every enemy. A skill tree provides pilot skills, while experience unlocks ship customizations and paint schemes. Story and Arcade modes, a secret level, 36 achievements, multiple endings, Steam Leaderboards, and partial controller support are included.
