What is Ancient Frontier: Steel Shadows?
Play as Rogan Harker, a freed convict who joins the Frontier’s pirate life while facing the Federation and Alliance.
The campaign contains over 20 story missions, while more than 50 procedurally generated side missions and over 50 random events add additional encounters. Battles use turn-based combat with initiative-based actions across detailed space maps. Players can purchase, equip, and command Pirate faction ships, then hire crew members who gain experience alongside their vessels. Fleet expansion also includes hidden mercenaries and ships. Three strategic resources require management, while technologies, weapon systems, and abilities support different approaches. The game includes two free DLCs: Ancient Frontier - The Crew and Ancient Frontier - Quests and Events.
