What is Between the Stars?
Command an interstellar cruiser as it journeys through space to defend civilization against the Sun’s Children, a group seeking control of frontier worlds and further expansion.
Cross sectors on a procedurally generated star map, where warp jumps bring events and hazards. Choices can alter the vessel, its crew, nearby space, and how a run unfolds. Battles happen in real time, with ship abilities available for use in combat. Modify ships and their systems, build a captain’s levels and attributes, and recruit and train crew. The game also features text-based events, weapon research, crafting, salvage, and trips to planets and space stations. Play on standard difficulty or activate permadeath.
