Our take on Baron Wittard
Rather than placing horror in a conventional house, town, or isolated facility, the game turns an entire indoor city into the haunted setting. Its apartments, offices, mall, and leisure areas replace the compact spaces typical of many horror adventures.
What is Baron Wittard?
Baron Wittard is a single-player horror adventure set in The Utopia, an abandoned city built inside one enormous building.
The complex contains apartments, offices, a shopping mall, and leisure spaces, but its planned opening never took place after mysterious events and disappearances. Exploring alone with a camera and torch, the player follows corridors, hidden routes, and deserted halls while investigating an ancient evil linked to the architect's secret. Non-linear progression supports searching for clues and solving puzzles as the mystery unfolds. The game uses a first-person viewpoint, an eerie musical score, and a setting shaped by urban decay. Electromagnetic disturbances and a growing threat add time pressure to the investigation.
